THE JOURNEY OF OUR JEWELS

FROM THE IDEA TO THE DESIGN

THE INSPIRATION is born as a result of careful research by the creative team based on artistic currents or naturalistic glimpses found in our territory.

Once the theme has been established, the team will start drawing the first models on paper and will carefully select the materials that will make up the soul of the jewels in the new collection.

DESIGN STUDIO

The technical drawings will then be transferred to the Design Studio where the graphic team will transform them into 3D digital models. Once the computer model has been created, all the pieces that will make up the jewel will be printed with a 3D printer and then transferred to the laboratory where the first sample will be created.

THE LAB

The 3D printed prototypes of the collection are brought to the Laboratory, where the artisans, using wax as a material for the mold, will create a negative into which they will pour the molten metal to give life to the first samples.

This is by far the most laborious process, it can take up to a month and a half to complete the production of a collection.

Once the raw jewelery is finally ready, the artisans will move on to polishing and brushing each individual piece to ensure the highest quality, and they will finish the work with laser engraving or engraving of our FERSERA signature on all the jewels.

GOLD PLATING AND COATING

Now that the backbone of the collection is ready we need to add the finishing touches, this is one of the most important processes in terms of workmanship.

Here we make sure that every single piece is gold or silver plated to perfection, and is coated ,if it's silver, from an internal layer of Palladium, which given its characteristics, will penetrate the pores present on the surfaces and will cover them, ensuring a homogeneous gilding; in the case of Brass, a treatment called Cataphoresis will be applied after the gold layer, which will cover the gilding making it resistant and shiny.
